Last week I decided I wanted to watch some of the lunar eclipse.I
knew it was cold out and so I put on my beautiful brown Valenkis that
go almost to my knees. The temperature was cold, -11F, and I decided
to stay out only until I started to get uncomfortable. I watched a
lot of the eclipse and thoroughly enjoyed my time outside, being very
still, and very cozy. My fingers started to get chilly and my cheeks
were cold, although my bare toes in my warm boots were just beginning
to cool off.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I'd been out in that
sub-zero weather for almost an hour!
I LOVE your boots!!!!!
Thanks, Pam, US
Russia is a theater of 6 seasons: spring, summer, fall, winter, winter, winter. Of course, on frosty days there are a lot of things to do and you need to be sure your fingers are not frozen. Russian hand-knitted downy or wool mittens are the warmest things you've ever had, much warmer than gloves.
Soft and fluffy, you wear them on their own, these mittens will keep your hands toasty and warm all winter long. The orginal ornament, different colours, the mitten styling adds a special cozy look to you. Very-very warm, lovely mittens from goat or rabbit down are hand made by caring Russian babushkas. Present the warmest winter to you or your kids from original Russian traditions.
