Last week I decided I wanted to watch some of the lunar eclipse.I
knew it was cold out and so I put on my beautiful brown Valenkis that
go almost to my knees. The temperature was cold, -11F, and I decided
to stay out only until I started to get uncomfortable. I watched a
lot of the eclipse and thoroughly enjoyed my time outside, being very
still, and very cozy. My fingers started to get chilly and my cheeks
were cold, although my bare toes in my warm boots were just beginning
to cool off.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I'd been out in that
sub-zero weather for almost an hour!
I LOVE your boots!!!!!
Thanks, Pam, US
Crepe De Chine and Satin silk scarves 89x89cm (35x35 inches)
This section represents Russian scarves from Pavlovo Posad factory made of 100 % natural silk of two types – satin and crepe de chine. Loved for its lustrous shine and sumptuous feel, silk satin is the most widely recognized of the silk fabrics.
The matte surface and "pebbled" texture of crepe de chine reflect individual pinpoints of light, giving it wonderful chromatic depth and striking eye-appeal.
Lightweight with a pleasing drape, skillful artists choose satin and crepe de chine among silk fabrics to unite so many different colors and mysterious patterns in one elegant ornamental song.
These silk Pavlovo Posad scarves do not have fringe, just a simple blinding (overlock) and usually used as head or neck scarves.
