Fine Lace Shawls

This collection features Orenburg lace shawls of the finest goat down. Goat down knitting craft originated in Orenburg area about 300 years ago. Orenburg goat yarn is one of the thinnest in the world, the down hair of Orenburg goats is only 14-18 micrometers. Goat down is not to confuse with cashmere. The down is combed out from goats at the beginning of winter season. These lace shawls are made from a blend of viscose and soft, gentle goat down not less than 64%. Orenburg lace down shawls are also known as web-like shawls or "wedding ring" shawls because even a large lace shawl can be pulled through a wedding ring thanks to the thinnest yarn.

Russian lace shawl takes so less place, but gives a great deal of warmth in cold times.
