I'll start with the ordering process. I had ordered the wrong color (Black) when I had intended to get Red, so I reached out via Email and received a reply in just a few hours, they were very understanding and kind, and also had me check my measurements one more time before the work on the shoes began. And so the wait began.
They arrived surprisingly quickly, as I live in the U.S, and I signed for a package that was covered with stamps. This was the first indication that I had received something of immense care. The shoes themselves are of the highest quality that I have ever seen, and the effort to keep them traditional and well crafted is sewn into every stitch. The bottom of the shoe is soft and doesn't cling to the floor, but you don't slide around unless you intend to. They are snug on the toes, but in a way that provides perfect and much needed structure for dance. The leather is soft on the calf and does not chafe, my arches feel fully supported. These are more than stage shoes, they are art unto themselves and I feel proud to own them.
With that said, these are not a shoe to wear casually on the street. I haven't tried to - but the softness of the sole is made for packed dirt or smooth theater floors, not asphalt or concrete.
These are shoes I will love for the rest of my life and dancing career, and I know that they will last that long and longer.
