The shape of the jackboots was developed from the commonly used riding boots. The long cuffs, which were supposed to protect the legs while riding, were folded down and  later became a common fashion trend. 

Under the long cuff there is a strap that can be used to close the boot. We have designed the underside of the cuffs in such a way that it can also be worn folded up high. The jackboots are costume boots. They are not designed for permanent use in the wilds, but we can add a street sole for the outside perfrmances.

• The sole and heel are made of thick, specially processed leather.
