Historic Hessian boots

The shape of the Hassian boots was developed from the commonly used riding boots. Hessian boots took their name from the German state of Hesse, where they were made. The Hessian boot was knee high and cut on a V at the front and made from soft leather.

The jackboots are costume boots. They are not designed for permanent use in the wilds, but we can add a street sole for the outside perfrmances.

• The boots are made of 100% genuine suede
• The heel height is 2 cm. (1.0'')
• The bootleg is 50 cm long (19.8")
• The sole and heel are made of thick, specially processed leather.
