Rubal Instrument

The rubel (rubal, kuchelka, kachanka, or rebra) is a Ukrainian folk musical instrument. It was primarily a household item used for washing and ironing clothes. Today rubel is as folk music percussion instrument.It consists of a piece of wood with carved grooves and a baton to beat and run over it.
