Description

The Russian folk costume, the "rubakha" in Slavic style, is an essential attribute of folk festivities on traditional folk holidays such as Ilyin Day, Perun's Day, Ivan Kupala Day, Maslenitsa, and other Slavic festivals. Such shirts were specifically sewn for wearing on the first day of haymaking. Dresses in the Slavic folk style are presented in the category of carnival costumes. A distinctive feature of the festive dress for Slavic festivals is the embroidery on the hem and sleeves. The main fabric is made of linen blend. The loose-fitting tunic-style shirt does not restrict movement and is excellent for performances and dances. For dance ensembles, we offer Russian folk costumes in two colors - red and blue. Slavic-themed folk costumes can be used for stage productions, performances at school events, group festivities, and thematic Slavic events.
