Snow Maiden Russian Costume

Ded Moroz is often accompanied by Snegurochka, his granddaughter. The Snow Maiden, in English, is a unique Slavic character, since she doesn't exist in other cultures. Snegurochka wears a silver, light blue coat and a snowflake-like kokoshnki crown or more often a furry hat.

The costume includes: a dress and a fur headdress.

Today Snegurochka is one of the most important symbols of Russian New Year celebration for all children.
