Azerbaijan National Costume ''Purple Dream''

The Azerbaijani traditional clothing is so colorful and has many varieties. The women used to wear loose costumes made of silk, satin, silk, brocade or plush.  Azerbaijan national costumes for women are believed to be dated back to the Urartu era. Since then the traditional dresses of Armenia are designed with creamy white silk, embroidered with gold thread.
